Stavros Eleftherakis promoveerde in 2025 in telematica-engineering aan de Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, bij IMDEA Networks Institute. Zijn proefschrift gaat over plaatsbepalingssystemen en de uitdagingen van beveiliging en privacy in echte draadloze netwerken.
